Qualicum Beach LBC players did an outstanding job in Nanaimo at the District Singles tournament.

Shelley Howieson won gold in the Ladies Intermediate category.

Tony Morris won gold in the Mens Intermediates.

Ray Chenier won gold in the Mens Novice.

And Pam Vandenbergh played very well in Ladies Novice class.

Members had a great time this Labour Day. There was a Spider, 10-end game and then a scrumptious meal. Thanks to organizers Stu Goodby and Darlene Opacic and the kitchen staff for a most enjoyable event.
