The event started in Parksville on the morning of Aug. 8. Eight players from QBLBC traveled to Parksville to play against 8 of their best bowlers. Parksville ended up ahead on the total score, even though the result was 4 wins and 4 losses. The afternoon games would decide who would capture this year’s trophy.
Again, the games were tied at 4 and 4 but with the help of 2 high scoring exciting games, QBLBC came out well ahead on the day’s total points, carrying away the trophy!
All bowlers expressed their pleasure with on such bright sunshiny day.
