Thank you very much to Martin Fereday and Willie Dunlop for helping to properly measure out the rinks in the Indoor Green.
The new tee locations now conform to international standards. Each tee is exactly 2 metres from the ditch, and they are 23 metres from the hog line.
The dots have not been moved as they are for general indication. Please note that, for tournament play, the furthest dot may be a few centimeters off the 23 metre minimum from the tee.
Also, the tee orientations have been reversed, as permitted by the regulation, so that the tee’s tail can be seen if you wish to place the mat at its minimum distance from the ditch.
Further improvements may be made during the summer season (such as adding dots to the 1A and 2A rinks).
