Help Needed

Members,

We have three tournaments coming up over the next few weeks that we need some helpers to assist us.

The tournaments are:

  • James MacDonald Triples, Thu May 30
  • QF Mens and Ladies Triples, Sat-Sun June 8-9
  • Sylvia Gibb Ladies Pairs, Sat-Sun June 22-23

The tasks we need help with are:

1.  Setup rink equipment the mornings before games start (2 est 30-40 mins)

2. Ensure all equipment is put away at the end of day (1  est 30 min)

3. Collect entry fee and ensure all teams and or players are present and paid (1 2-3 hours)

4. Prepare game cards (1 2 hours)

5. Gather score cards after games and verify score and ends won (1 all day)

6. Enter score into scoresheet (1 all day need some computer skills)

7. Moving water containers before and after games (1 est 30 mins)

If you can help out with any of these tasks it will make the tournament manager’s job much easier.

Most of these tasks only require a small time commitment and can even be done by players playing in the tournaments.  Others, such as the scoring and cards, are best done by people who can commit to a few hours or a full day.

If we get multiple responses for the same tasks and day we will select the first ones we receive.
