The final Indoor tournament of the season was a delightful experience for bowlers and audience alike. There was a balance of a few novice bowlers playing with veteran players from Victoria, Nanaimo, Parksville and Qualicum Beach.
Thank you very much to the organizer, James MacDonald, for a very smooth-running event!
Shirley and David Bolden were our honoured guests, speaking in remembrance of Gavin Reid who was responsible for our Indoor Green facility. Shirley gave us a brief history, which was filmed by Garry Campbell.
The tournament winners were:
First place – Brent Jansen, Dennis Verge, Gopala Gowda.
Second place – Vern Hagstrom, Graham Fowler, Linda Cooper.
Third place – James MacDonald, Lorane Martin, Ziutka Hundley.
Fourth place – Erik Ewen, Luci Ewen, Suzanne Ewen.
